Is noctua nh d14 enough to overclock i5 8600k to 5 ghz

Also is it worth to buy i5 8600k instead of i7 8700.i can wait till the release of b360 Mobo.
I will only do gaming

If you want to OC the CPU you have to use a Z370 board.
Also not all i-8000 CPUs can reach 5GHz.

I know about silicon lottery and also about overclock enabled z series Mobo .
I want to know can noctua nh d14 gave same performance like a 240mm aio cooler

Depends on the AIO and your case. Usually the ND14 can at least keep up with them.

The be quiet dark pro 3 is a solid cooler too, maybe not quite as good on temps as the noctua but definitely better looking if you care about that =D
