Cpu cooler not working properly.

Hello
I just built my new system and everything works fine except cpu cooler (NZXT kraken x41) i plugged the pump into cpu_fan and the actual fan into cpu_opt when i turn it on the fan is working but the pump isnt so i connected the pump into a chassis fan 3 pin and it was working fine along with the fan but my motherboard wouldnt let me go to windows because there was no cpu fan detected in the cpu_fan connection. Any advice?

connect the pump to the cpu fan header, connect the krakens fan header to the first connector on the fan power cable, connect the usb cable from the pump to a usb header and it should work.
if you didnt connect the usb header it may be the reason the motherboard thinks theres no cpu fan.

I did connect the usb cable and the pump to the cpu fan header but when i connect the fan to the vonnector but it didnt work
the problem is that my motherboard shows the fan as spinning but the cpu fan which is the pump shows as if it wasnt connected

did you connect to the usb2 or usb3? (needs to be on usb2)
is bios fan control set to pwm mode. (if its set to auto or rpm that may be the problem)

Yes usb 2
how do i set pwm in bios?

I changed it and it didn't work but pump connected to chassis fan header and fan connected to cpu opt it shows error i go to bios press discard and exit and takes me to windows weird but now it works
last question is there a way to avoid displaying error by tricking motherboard?

sorry mate no idea. some 1 with that motherboard will have to help on that 1.
take a look at the index in the pdf it might point you to the correct settings.
