Captain 240 cooler broke and ruined my CPU and motherboard... was wondering if Deepcool or Newegg was able to replace my parts?

Solution
Medical grade de-ionised water has (almost) no dissolved minerals in and isn't conductive.
You should be able to submerge your pc in it and still run, like the did with oil/coolant ages ago.

Not sure how stat. consumer warranties work in the USA, but in AUS, you could argue this is a major fault (since it killed your computer), which would allow you to get a refund, not a replacement.
Your next system maybe use an air cooler or better brand water.
Hoses shouldn't just be glued. They should all have compression fittings.

It leaked all over your parts and shorted something out?
Doubtful they would cover other parts. But you can ask them.

I've never seen a consumer warranty cover anything other than what they sold you.
They always explicitly state if their product breaks and kills something else, tough luck.

You can see why... buy a $1.99 charger and it burns your house down. New house please.
Would put 90% of companies out of business overnight.

As a side note, pretty unlucky. I had a custom loop leak while i was on holiday. System was on too. Came home to a wet mobo, gfx card and a puddle in the bottom of my case. Fixed the leak, cleaned it up and kept using it for years more.

i have done the same. if you use the right water and keep your system clean it cant hurt the components.

The leak happend where the glass pipe is at... it just came out of its hole. I have literally no idea how that happened seems to me an easy fix just reapply the glue to the pipes and shove it back in. But I guess I won't be getting a new CPU or MOBO... but tbh it was just an AMD CPU and I was considering upgrading to Intel anyways lol :)
