Hi,

I currently have a Hyper 212 Evo v2 with 2 fans as I added one. It's only rated for 130Tdp which is cooling my i5 12400 extremely well. I very rarely seen the CPU go over 60C even when gaming, ive never seen it hit 70. Idles under 20c sometimes.

I am looking at upgrading to the i5 13600k as I only game and the i7/19 would be overkill and mostly unused potential.

I have been offered a noctua nh-d15 chromax.black in great condition for £40 on FB marketplace which I think ill be able to get for £30 but factoring in travel as its around a 44mile round trip to collect it the cost of Diesel will ramp this price up a bit.

I am also looking at the Peerless Assassin and the SE version which can be nabbed on amazon.

Which one is best to get out of the Peerless Assassins? One is grey and £10 cheaper than black then there is some RGB ones going for a low price also.

Or should I just go for the Noctua on FB?

Thanks.

My case has clearance for 170mm coolers as its the Fractal Meshify C. I know the Noctua is pushing the limits of my case clearance with only 5mm to work with.

if the Noctua is still in "like new" condition with fans still quiet and functioning as they should, i'd go for that.
MSRP is ~$120 US and they are very nice air coolers.

i'd probably even try the new 13600K with the Hyper 212 and some higher quality fans first.
but, if the NH-D15 Chromax is only available for a limited time, i'd still grab it.

He has said it is mint condition and will accept £30. Same price as the peerless assassins, I just have to drive a bit to collect the Noctua.
