CPU cooler worth it or should I just get h75 corsair

If your going to overclock you need a aftermarket CPU cooler what kind really depends on the processor that you forgot to list.

I run a i7-4790k with a H75 - it doesn't budge off idle when gaming, but I'm only pushing a moderate OC (just on 4600Mhz in Turbo)

If you want to go hard on your OC, get a Noctua D14/15 or something like the H105 or H110 or the NZXT X61 if you have the space for it. The X61 is probably the best AIO liquid cooler available when based on value for money, the Noctua's are only slightly less effective.

Given the price of the H75 though, it's pretty effective and holds up well against some of the big boys for a 140mm radiator
