The coolermaster Hyper 212+ and the V6 GT are the best value coolers in the lineup.
Where are people getting this idea the V8 and V10 are great coolers.
Thery're not price vs. performance.
The V8 is good average at best.
The V10 is a very poor value.
Many coolers costing much less outperform both of them.
That isn't the case with the CM Hyper 212+ which offers very good cooling performance for the price.

I would look at a Scythe S-Flex E or a similar Slipstream model to match-up with your cooler.

You know I have the Hyper 212+ and I tried using a faster fan on it. Specifically I used a 110CFM Scythe Slip Stream and it really didn't make an improvement from the stock fan at max speed. Skip the fan and buy some OCZ Freeze. Its one of the better compounds you can get. The tube comes with enough compound for many applications. So far I have done 2 CPUs and 4 GPUs with the same tube.
