Hey All,

As the title says I have a a Casecom 6788. I recently upgraded to an AMD FX 8350 on a Biostart TA970 mobo.

The stock cooler works well, but unfortunately it is very noisy. What I need to know is what CPU fans are available on the market. I had an Artic Cooler 7 Rev 2 in the case, but I don't want to buy another one.

I am particularly interested in this cooler... Artic Cooling Xtreme.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ARTIC-Cooling-Freezer-Xtreme-Cooler/product-reviews/B001X017G2/ref=dpx_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1

I need to know if it fits in case. All input is welcome and alternative suggestions requested. I am looking in the region of £15 upto £50.

However, swapping the case is NOT an option.

Thanks folkles! :) x

I would suggest to you the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099&cm_re=hyper_evo_212-_-35-103-099-_-Product

It fits in your case, it's withing your budget, it comes with thermal paste, and mounting sockets for both Intel and AMD motherboards/CPUs.

In addition it's one of the most recommended CPU coolers out there and very popular. The only problem i seem to hear, is that it's a little tricky to install because of bad manual. Just watch a youtube video on how to do it, that would be the best option.

Their site is spectacular in the lack of information and how they do their ultimate to cram the available information into a postage-sized frame inside the browser window. I can't even link the specs for the case since they're hidden in an iFrame.

You'll have to measure the clearance between your CPU and the case, deduct a few millimeters for safety and use that as the height for coolers that will fit.
