CPU cooler's help???

I have a few questions such as what will I need to change a cpu stock cooler to a new cooler master 212 and what command paste should I get with it???
I have no idea how or what I use to clean the old paste off with or how please could you guys give me the full advise my case is cooler master 912 and cpu is fx 8320 AMD if that helps???

The new cooler will come with thermal paste. If you don't want to use it, then get some of this:

Rubbing alcohol is the generic cleaner that you can use. Their are some Special-purpose cleaners out there, but are not needed in most situations. This link below a pictured way to removed and clean heatsink.

Getting the mx-4 thermal paste is a way better option than the arctic silver 5, no curing time, no conductivity and better perfomance.

You want a 'lint free' towel or rag. Somewhere in the past the use of coffee filters was suggested and I have found they work very well. An old cotton t-shirt works well also.

The Artic Clean is super good, been using it the last few years. The cleaning pads are too small. If you don't want to use coffee filters, then find an old t-shirt. Paper towels, I found, tend to leave "lint" and they have a tiny amount of oil or lotion in them to make them soft and you don't need that left behind on your cpu.
