Cpu cooling dba

Do water cpu coolers make noise? If so then how much dba? (i am loooking at the Antec Kuhler H20 950 Liquid Cooler)

They do make noise but depending on the fans you use it could vary. No matter which cooler I use, air or water, I always use Noctua NF-F12 http://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-F12-PWM-Cooling-F... fans due to their excellent performance and quiet operation. They are probably the best in the market when it comes to cooling fans but they aren't cheap.

The NF-F12s are extremely expensive, but they are the best. If you go overkill with your radiator size, and keep overlocking to a minimum, you can get extremely low noise by keeping the fan/pump speeds very low. So in order to get very low noise go for a Noctua Cooler since they come with their fans.
