Hi, I'm planning to buy a CPU cooling duct, which attaches to the cpu fan and blows out hot air throigh the side panel vent, you know like a plastic pipe-sort of thingy. How do I find the right model? What do I have to look out for? Do you have any specific model you could recommend?

PLEASE take a minute and help me!! :)

Personally, I wouldn't go with that idea. It's different, but I can't say it's very pleasing to look at. We've had a few PCs here at work that had them (part of HPs build) but trying to do something like that on your own, I just don't see a reason for with other tech out there to help. You could do your own measurements and cut PVC or something to fit, but again, we're talking things that don't really dress up all that well.

This is really the only thing I've personally seen http://www.ctsestore.com/sites/default/files/styles/pic_wm/public/HP_Compaq_6200_SFF_6.jpg that is similar to what you're talking about, but that is directing airflow to the CPUs heatsink. I saw a few examples online about what you're talking about but again, they look a little clunky and probably restrict airflow in the rest of the case more than it could ever help the CPU. For the price of the modifications of that, you could easily get a nice air cooler, but if temperature is that much of an issue, due to overclock or something else, then a closed loop liquid system would be your best bet (for around or just under 100$).
