Hey everyone I'm new to this forum and forgive me if i write this topic in the wrong section of the forum. Well let's get to the point. Today I was checking the motherboard (ASUS P5K-E) and my CPU (Intel Pentium D 945, I know pretty lame CPU) and therefore i had to take off the fan (TMG i2 Tt another lame fan). The cooler uses a push pins and they are really complicated to take out (and install back). And so by accident I broke the pins. I was thinking to buy and fan but that's a drastic move so i decided to probably buy a new base or screws. I was thinking about buying this base (http://) to hold the CPU but I don't know if this might work at all or if I'm doing the correct thing. Anyways I just want to fix this and I need to know how: buy a new fan, buy screws, or buy a new base. Thanks.

Thanks for replying! Wow those are the clips that broke haha. I guess I'll try that second option and hope it works. Otherwise i think it might be better to buy a new fan. Anyways thanks
