is it a danger for short out when cpu coolerfins touch the metal tower sidedoor?.Or is it a good idea to ground the big heatpipe based coolers to the tower?Asus geforce gtx680 grafikk card have a flat heatpipe based cooler with 2 fans and a tick metal plate on the backside of the pcb.that is fastent to the display ports plate that is fastend to the tower. So the gpu with that type cooling is grounded to the tower electricaly. One should belive the same where ok for cpu/apu heatpipecoolers.the tower is grounded to the pcu witch is grounded to the house ground system.static electrisity build upp by dry air trough cooling fins etc goes to ground? bacicly is it ok to ground my cpu cooler to the tower?

Don't worry about shorting out the CPU cooler fins to the case. The fins do not carry any electricity, and do not generate any static electricity.

For the same reason, no need to ground the cooler to the case.

stacik elektrisity build upp because off air stream form is a factt.it depends on the humidity in the air.so when conditions are rigth you can have a buildupp and discharge to the nearest metal grounded parts.it is wery seldom this happen i admit.but it can.
