CPU Core Problem

I recently just changed my motherboard, cpu and ram

New parts:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1500x Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI AMD AM4 Ryzen B350 TOMAHAWK ATX Motherboard
RAM: 8GB DDR4 Hyperx

All the parts are compatible but my computer seems to only recognize 1 core and 2 threads when my new CPU has 4 cores and 8 threads. I've tried changing processors on task configuration > advanced but it only it allows me to select 1 or 2 processors. I've checked task manager and other programs and they all say my computer only has 1 core and 2 threads but that just isn't the case.

If anyone knows something please tell me.

Solution
Start with the suggestions here and follow the instructions on how to clear the box on CPU cores in Cortana search* > type: "msconfig" > Select msconfig and press Enter > Boot tab > Advanced and clear the box on number of CPU cores, restart the computer and if nothing has changed after the restart, access the BIOS and see the CPU settings section on how to enable all CPU cores. Download the user manual for reference and instructions starting from page 37. You could also just reset the BIOS instead and wait for the BIOS to configure the CPU automatically. You may only need to reset the BIOS for it to recognize all cores... you may want to try that if you have trouble with the BIOS CPU core settings.
