Hey All, I have an AMD A10-7700k Radeon R7,
It says I have 10 compute cores, 4C and 6G, i have no idea what that means though haha. In the task manager it says I have 1 Socket, 2 Cores and 4 Logical Processors, does that mean I only have two cores and the rest are hyper threading?

If that's the case, what would be a better CPU for live streaming, if the AMD isn't good enough?

Solution
Not exactly. 'Cores' is an architectural term that applies more simply to other processors.

The compute part of the A10-7700K consists of two Steamroller Modules, each of which contains two Integer processors, for a total of four, and one shared Floating Point processor, for a total of two, so your chip has four Integer processors and two Floating point processors.

The AMD A10-7700K consists of two parts, 4 separate cores of compute power, pretty much an Athlon X4 860K, for all your mathematical and logic calculations, and 6 graphics cores for graphics processing.

There's nothing much better without also changing your motherboard.

Thank you! I shall read that shortly. I Can't find out which mother board I have, or I don't know where to find that information, but would you know of a good CPU to stream with that wouldn't break my bank? haha

Well, that's a shame haha. I think my system is pretty good, at least I hope so for what I paid for it. Do you want the specs?

Edit: Oooh, I see what you're saying. Drat.
