The Vcore and therefore the clock speeds of my AMD FX-8350 (not overclocked) take large drops whenever it is under load from games or a stresstest like prime95. The drops are periodic and happen with some delay after the load begins. Here are two examples:
During Crysis 2 gameplay, each of the voltage drops results in a huge FPS drop as well:
During a prime95 stress test:
I don't know what Temperature#2 is but it rises and drops contrary to the voltage and clock.
The Core Temperatures reach 60°C max, which should be fine?
I tried turning off all power saving options (Cool'n'Quiet, APM, Thermal Throttle, C6 State, Turbo Core) in the BIOS which results in a stable voltage and clock speed of 4Ghz, but as soon as the CPU is under load the fluctuations still happen.
What could be the cause for this?
My build:
AMD FX-8350
ASRock 970 Extreme4
Gainward GTX-970 4GB
G-Skill DDR3-1333 4GB (x4)
