Cpu corner break

Ok I bought a e6550 frOm eBay and the corner was broken I checked the pins make sure all pin were touching the cpu the top corner was broken will it effect a cpu from working or is it still working

As long as the pins are firmly in the pin sockets on the motherboard where the cpu is going to fit then everything should work fine. You should try to get your refund just because though. But it will still work perfectly
