CPU crashes randomly

as above.

when it does, the casing fan and the proc fan are momentarily switched off then on again.. but the system does not restart.

where can i get an error log or start troubleshooting?

i dont have and bsod.. probably disable somehow. and these crashes are random. one moment i can be browsing the web and yet this happened.

8GB DDR3 Ram
Mobo: p8H67-MLE asus rev3.0

occasionally i see the RED LED lights up during the crash at the reboot. but sometimes it disappears after a while.
