My 1800x was sent to me in a bag with no extra packaging or in a box, the retail box was damaged and torn. I will be sending it back but the information the site provided me was that “if the product is not damaged or considered fully functional it will be shipped back to you at your cost”
I’m extremely dissatisfied with that response and want to build information to ensure I am sent a NEW 1800x replacement that is shipped adequately. Is anyone aware of how they could even test the CPU? What damage could it of done to the CPU and should the site should be liable anyway for incompetent packaging?
