Question CPU debug light, won't boot

I just upgraded from a ryzen 7 1700 to a 3700x and when I boot the pc after putting in the 3700x the debug light for the CPU staus on fans at full speed gpu on but no video output and my peripherals dont turn on either. I've tried remounting 3 times. I've made sure all the cables are in place multiple times and the BIOS was updated a couple months ago. I'm at a total loss. Please send any suggestions my way. Did you try updating the bios? The factory bios might not support the cpu. If im right your motherboard doesnt have a bios flash. So what you wanna do is put the old cpu in and boot. Then upgrade your bios to the latest version and you should be fine. And dont worry, i had the same problem with my tomahawk motherboard.
