So I recently built a new pc and I haven't used my old one since June 7th, I'm planning on giving this old one to my younger brother.

So basically I put back my old PSU into my old setup, connect all the cables, and make sure there isn't one loose. Then I bought a new SSD for the old setup to use.
After I finish setting everything up, I turn on my pc and it flashes the CPU EZ Debug light and turns off right away.

My old setup

i5 6500
MSI Arsenal Gaming Intel Z170A LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 Micro ATX Motherboard (Z170M Mortar)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3GB GDDR5 Graphics Card (GV-N1060WF2OC-3GD)
Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-M2 MicroATX Gaming Case
EVGA 600 B1, 80+ BRONZE 600W
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2133MHz
WD Blue 2.5 SSD 1TB

Hello

Most likely cause is your mobo, problem is that you would need another mobo to test this theory

lend/steal/procure a LGA1151 mobo and test would be my suggestion

cpu's are quite sturdy whereas mobo's are not, i think you fried your mobo with static
