hi guys

i have some queries need to clarify while upgrading my CPU..

1. what does the core names mean for FX processors (VISHERA, TRINITY.....)
2. what does the architecture mean and how it will be for FX processors (like K11 - piledriver, bulldozer.......etc)
3. what features supported by VISHERA FX processors(PILEDRIVER).

please help me.....

Solution
All of those can pretty much be answered in one go.

The core names are the production run names of the CPUs. My 965 and most Phenom IIs were part of the Deneb lineup. Vishera is the FX production line, trinity are APUs and some processors such as the 760K.
Architecture are the actual builds themselves so to say. So the first generation FX processors (8100, 6100) were bulldozers. Those were the cores used in the processors. Still a part of Vishera. The 3rd generation such as the 8320 is Piledriver, newer cores, better performance.
