Question CPU died after a broke a piece of inductor off

So I was installing an ssd when I accidentally broke a piece of an inductor on the mobo

Mobo: Asus be560m-k
CPU: Intel 11600-k

It does look broke. The board might be fixable by replacing the inductor. The CPU might work too, but then might not.

Unsolder the broken inductor and solder in a replacement.

ADDED: But on second thought...if you're asking this the best course of action is to find a good repair shop to do it for you. If the board is a cheap one it might be a better value to simply replace it.

By replacing the part. Maybe. You wouldn't know if you need a new motherboard and/or CPU until you see what happens after replacing the part.

Search online...R33, SMD inductor.

ADDED: you'll find many different looking ones out there...different packaging styles, different lead forms. If you can't find an exact replacement you have to select what your application can handle...mainly clearance around the part and lead form for soldering it on. But also pay attention to current ratings. It can get tricky, so if you're not really familiar with all this that's why it's best to take it to a good tech.
