CPU display glitch

Whenever I reboot my comp after about 5 min my display glitches and moves all my desktop icons to the right hand side of the screen. If I want to click on any of them I must scroll my mouse across the screen edge on the left to get to the right side (hope that makes sense) This issue has just begun recently and can not think what caused it out of the blue. Any assistance would be appreciated!

check all your resolution settings at the monitor windows and gpu to see if there all set the same and also set you refresh rates to whats native for your monitor and see.
