I have a laptop that I purchased last year for CSGO while not at home.
I've monitored the CPU and it always stays at 1.6 GHz even when under full load from the CPU and GPU.
Acer Nitro 5
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core I5 8250U (Stuck at 1.6 despite the ability to turbo boost to 3.4 apparently.)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce MX 150 (The more Powerful Version of it.)
RAM: 12GB DDR4 Can't remember what speed its clocked at.
Storage: 480 GB Sandisk SSD Storage Device.
So yeah, I don't know why the CPU always remains at 1.6 GHz but If anyone knows or has a possible solution please leave a suggestion as to why it happens or how to 'fix' it.
Thanks.
