Cpu doesn't boot again after shut down but shows hdd in motherboard setup.

When I power on my pc in the morning it doesn't boot and shows that "Reboot and select proper boot device" ,it boots when I disconnect and reconnect my hdd several times. After which it sometimes freezes at starting windows and also while working. After I shut down my PC and try to power on again same problem occurs.

My PC configuration: Intel i5-2500, 4GB DDR3, 1 TB WD caviar blue, Gigabyte B75M-D3V, 450 watt psu, Nvidia GTX 750Ti.

Reboot and select proper boot device means either the motherboard lost what HDD you want to boot off of or the HDD/SDD failed or is corrupted.

HDD is not only a few months old, and crystal disk info is showing it's good.

HDD's can fail at ANY time. Get the utility from Western Digital to test the drive. If it is still good then try putting a different cable on it or maybe in a different SATA slot.

Maybe try to press tight the SATA power connect on your PSU and HDD. Then try to switch the SATA cable to a different port.

I have already tested the hard disk several times with both crystal disk info and WD diagnostic tool, there is no problem with hdd. Also I have tried three different SATA cables and all the slots.

Try pressing in the HDD power cord in firmly.

I think the problem is with PSU, because sometimes it also shows "Nvidia driver stopped working and recovered".
I'll buy a new PSU.
