Cpu doesn't work?

Hey,
so my mate has gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 6.0 < that motherboard and he had a fx 6300 and recently got a fx 8350 but he installed the CPU and nothing came up on his monitors so i presumed it was his bios.
I then went over to the gigabyte site looked up his model and downloaded the F2 bios file and put it on a USB and installed the new bios from that USB everything worked, so it seemed.

put the CPU back in and yet again it doesn't work 🙁

Help?

Hi, It could be a CPU issue. If under warranty. try RMA-ing it.

Well i just pulled it out of a working PC so it should be working 🙁
