When I first got my PC, I was able to max out CS:S, MW2, 1.6 etc...

When I reinstalled Windows 7 because a registry corruption...I couldn't. Now 5 months later I went searching through my system info(Now I think this is the problem). I am currently on Windows 8

you don't need a driver for a cpu. so i have no idea what that is, more than likely is not the problem though. could be numerous problems, we need to know more about your pc. has anything else changed since you reinstalled windows?
how hot do components run? how old is your powersupply? etc.

if you dont need a cpu driver then why in device manager does it show your cpu has a driver?
