Question CPU drivers

hey guys, probably a really stupid question, do I need a driver for my ryzen 5 5600 (I mean like the nvidia app sort of driver) and will it affect my performance as I've noticed my pc is getting 50 fps in helldivers 2 (with 4 players) or would it be some other reason like game optimisation.

No drivers exactly. Motherboard BIOS carries everything the OS needs in that regard. And your motherboard chipset drivers basically cover the rest of it. Feel free to grab the latest BIOS and drivers for your system though.

5600 isn't a top of the line CPU, I wouldn't expect to see it topping the charts in terms of FPS output. Assuming you are CPU bound and not GPU bound anyway.

Nope, no drivers are needed for your processor but you will need chipset drivers. What is the make and model of your motherboard? What OS are you working with? BIOS version for your motherboard?

On second thoughts, when posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
