Hi I am having a very hard time with this issue. Here are the specs:

CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G

GPU: Rx 570 4Gb

RAM: 8GB

PUS: EVGA 450 BR 80 PLUS

Info of the problem: After gaming for some hours this problem will come up on any game. Temps are fine.

Things I have tried:

-Updated BIOS

-Clean AMD Drivers intallation

-Checked for Malwares

-Cleaned the very dusty CPU stock cooler

Things that I have notice that could be part of the issue:

-Never changed the thermal paste, it seems like its running out of it.

-Dropped some coffee on my pc some time ago (Posible PSU problem)

I would be happy if anyone could help me and tell me if what I need is a new PSU or new thermal paste or both.

I also will kindly provide any infou you guys need!

I was searching around and found something called VRM throtling. Is there a chance that those things could be doing something to my CPU.

Also was seeing that the CPU power goes from 23W to 3-4W

Certainly I'd start by thoroughly cleaning off existing paste/thermal compound from top of CPU's heat spreader, and underside of cooler, then reapplying a new very thin layer with a scotch taped finger, and retest.

(As you did not mention a mainboard, is it safe to assume no overclocking is applied/attempted within BIOS?)

Instead of speculating on possible temps, monitor them with RyzenMaster

My motherboard is : Gigabyte A320-S2H and can't overclock my CPU.

I am using RyzenMaster to check all of those stats!

I will get my hands on a Thermal Paste as soon as possible and comeback!
