Hello, my problem is that my pc doesnt want to turn on. And when its turns on, its freezing. I mean, I play some games or smthing, keybord led doesnt glow. Pc freezes, and when it happens while im away (eating) it starts to beep like its overheated.
When its not starting, I usually check under the cpus. When I get the heatsink off, there was some water ontop of the cpu. And when I check under the cpu, theres a little bit of water on the edges of the cpu. Sometimes on the connectors too. I clean it off, I put the heatsink back. And I try to start it, sometimes MOBO LED isnt glowing. Im just trying restarting it, it glows up sometimes and pc start running. But sometimes I have to restart it for hours to get it work.
Whats the problem?

Motherboard: Supermicro x7dbe
CPU: 2x Intel Xeon 5450
RAM: 32GB DDR2

Note: Yesterday(Monday) im posting this on tuesday. Yesterday it was working fine. I was playing on it!

So taking out of the equation that there is a leak from your non existent watercooling system - just kidding. Sorry that's a crazy-a@@ problem.

Is there any possibility to blame the physics for this? Condensation?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condensation

99.9% it isn't possible to happen, assuming your PC is not placed outside in the backyard or balcony exposed to the elements, and it is not chilled to below room temperature, there is no way for condensation to form.

There is the small possibility of the CPU fan leaking oil like @Mr.Spock wrote, but the droplets would had dark yellow color.

I don't know Dude, place your PC in a different room, change CPU's cooling system and try not to operate your PC at all, until you solve the problem, because the only sure thing is that you will totaly fry your system eventually.

The pipes are empty. The guy who sold me it, told me the first owner cut down the heat tubes tops. So all liquid are gone. And I dont think its leaking. Because there are water UNDER the cpu. Where its sits on the connectors.

I think I know the problem. In the house we are using furnaces, and at night theres a 5-9° celsius drop(From 27° to 18°). And when I turn off the PC the CPU's are 70-60°hot. And when its cooling down, water vapour creates.

If that was the case, then shouldn't both CPU's display the same problem? And then, I don't think this is how condensation works or either excuses the droplets.

As I said, just don't use your PC, at least until you change that weird modded CPU heat-sink. Again that's your neck on the line so do as you like. Peace.

[Edit]correction the above is for LGA 1366.
