[SOLVED] CPU dying?

hello guys,

I have my i7 4790k for quite some time now, a year or six maybe. I always used it watercooled and tried some overclocking in the past, but had it run stock for at least the last two-three years now.
Never encountered problems, but lately I've been getting BSOD's more often and often. IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL was one of them, but most of the times it doesn't even make the bluescreen,
Windows just freezes entirely and I can't do anything but turning my pc off. First thought it had to do with my memory, because I installed two extra sticks three weeks ago. It ran fine the first two weeks,
but I ran memtest86 to be sure, left it overnight and was still running without any errors the next day. I increased the voltage on my cpu to try and make it stable again and it now is, but when stress testing
it runs really hot (95+ Celcius) EVEN with my watercooling. Point is I'm currently at the lowest possible voltage where my cpu is stable without any overclocking. Do I have to start looking for a new cpu
or could it be other issues as well (mobo, psu etc.)?

Thanks in advance,
Oskar

Solution
Could be anything, even a software problem. Not enough symptoms for sensible diagnosis. That said, overclocking CPU not only shortens the lifespan of CPU but motherboard as well. What you are seeing could be very well mobo VRMs having problem with delivering 'clean' power to CPU. But like I said, not enough data to say this or that way.
