So I bought a new motherboard because I thought my old one went bad, the new one MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS the old one is Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7
and hooked my G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3000MHz (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model F4-3000C16D-16GTZR to it but when I turn it on there is no signal to monitor and CPU EZ Debug LED is on?
the MSI website (https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MPG-Z390-GAMING-PLUS#support-mem-6) says the ram is not compatible but the G.SKILL and pcpartpicker says it is.
My question is, was my CPU dead all along or is the RAM the issue? I wanna know if I should buy new RAMs to fit the motherboard or replace the CPU?
