So here's th
i5-2500k @ 4.7GHz
Corsair H105 liquid cooling
ASUS P8Z68 Motherboard
So my problem is:
Right now, 1/3 times, my computer fires up, all fans start spinning, then the CPU_LED turns on too. Stays on for a solid 2-3 seconds, with all fans spinning at max speed. PC then turns off. It reboots automatically, this time the CPU_LED turns off after 1 second, pc loads up to windows loading point and then it's a black screen. USB components do not work, such as keyboard and mouse, but the fans inside the PC and everything else is spinning. I, then, have to forcefully turn it off(clicking once on the power button doesnt work) which is by double-clicking the power button and holding it down for a solid 5 seconds after the second click. Then PC loads completely fine.
What do I do? The problem is very persistent and annoying, and it seems to get progressively more frequent. Last time, I tried loading defaults in the BIOS and that fixed it... for some time. I then saw that in some OC profiles the PC does that. I went to a 4.7GHz profile that worked the first 15 boot-ups lets say, and then it started doing the mentioned above again. Do I run my CPU at default 3.3GHz? Do I overclock it less? Do I keep defaults? Does anybody have the same problem?
