Question CPU fan and heatsink fell off

Whilst using my PC I heard an audible noise from inside my PC case and then my PC immediately shut down. Upon restarting my PC would switch off instantly when it tried to boot up. I have since found out that my CPU heatsink and fan have fallen off due to one of the plastic clips attached to the motherboard breaking off (see Imgur link).

My question is how do I go about fixing this? Is it possible to buy another plastic clip to screw into the motherboard? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might be able to find another plastick piece for sale somewhere Or you could get an aftermarket cooler that uses a different mounting system.
That way you would remove those plastic pieces and use the new coolers mounting system.

Likely since your pc shut down no damage occurred.
Since this is an am3+ board you can buy the backplate and mounting hardware for cheap.

You can get the retention brackets for about $5 on eBay.
