Question CPU FAN doesn’t turn on ?

Hi again, so i got at this brand model pc (hp 600 g2 mt lga 1151 6th gen ddr4 model) whitout cpu and ram, yesterday i buy an i5 6500 & 8gb ddr4 (lenovo 2666mhz), when i put into the pc and try to turn on, all turns on exceptly the cpu fan, the monitor does not display anything, tried with dp-dvi cable cuz i5 6500 does not allow vga (my monitor has vga/dvi output), whats your opinion, i think if i change the ram module to Crucial DDR4 8Gb 2666Mhz its gonna work, but maybe the processor is broken or something, did i need try to change the ram module? how i can check if my ram/cpu/fan its broken? or i need to send to repair/check

artic mx-4 as thermal paste so thats not the problem

Basically i get one of this pre build pc (hp prodesk 600 G2) without ram & cpu, so i buy an ddr4 ram module (lenovo 8gb 2666mhz) and i5 6500, when i put into the pc and tried to use the cpu fan doesnt turn on (cpu too), my monitor does not display anything, i think the ram module doesnt work/is not compatible or maybe the cpu is broken, but actually i have no idea how to check it, did u recommend go to repair/check guys?

Got a link to the listing for the prebuilt you bought? Are you sure the connector for the CPU cooler's fan is oriented the right way? As for your platform, inspect the CPU socket for any bent or broken pins. Make and model of the PSU in the build?

how i can check if my ram/cpu/fan its broken?
You swap them out and use a known working motherboard to test the ram and CPU. The CPU cooler, I'm certain it's bespoke to the HP prebuilt.

Please stick to one thread unless you want the community to end up with spaghetti brains.

Excuse me I have some questions that could help me to know my exact problem

1- did the cpu fan works if I turn on my computer without ram memory?

2- If my processor is broken, when I turn on my computer, will start to heat up?
