Hey everyone,

I recently upgraded my pc(mobo + cpu + case) and while i was booting my pc up for the first time i noticed my cpu stock cooler/fan not spinning. It maybe spins 1 second and then stops. The rgb on it work and i've tried alot in bios but it just says it is around 300RPM.

So i've tried to replace to my old stock cooler it spins but also really slow(I don't know the exact number) and my cpu just slowly overheats.

I think it has something to do with that it doesn't get sufficient power but it's weird since my mobo is new and my previous one worked like a charm and the same with my psu.

And i made sure that the cable is connected btw.

If you guys can help me out without having to return in online it would be really appreciated.

PC:
AMD RX5700XT
AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING
Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3000
Corsair PSU VS Series VS650

Previous CPU with stock cooler:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600

A fan takes negligible power. The psu may not be the best, but it is unlikely to be your problem.
Look in the bios at the fan control options.
You certainly need to be running faster than 300 rpm.
Actually, most fans will not even start at less than 500 rpm.
You need the fan to be connected to the primary cpu fan header.
There may be a default fan profile which sets the fan speed too low.
The VS series PSU's are quite rubbish. They do although work for home PC's but are terrible for gaming.

You should replace it with a Corsair RM 750 or RMx 750

That should resolve all of your problems
The problem i have with that is that online it says that my system only needs around 450 watts and i actually dont know jackshit about psu's so if you could elaborate why my psu is so bad it would be really helpfull.

And it's not out of the question to buy a new one it just seems unlikely to me but thanks for trying to help me though.
