I built a custom PC that I've used problem free for about 8 months. Two days ago ago it threw a CPU fan error. I have read other threads, but they've been unable to help. I think the BIOS minimum fan RPM might be the problem, but the computer shuts down before I can even get into the BIOS.
Specs:
Asus M5A99FX Pro/R2.0 motherboard
AMD FX-9590 CPU
Corsair H80i gt liquid cooling
Corsair CS750M psu
Relevant Notes:
System shuts off before I can get into BIOS
Local tech store said CPU was fine
Warning beeps indicate hardware failure
Tried replacing CPU (used a friends 8350; same result)
Tried replacing motherboard (bought and refunded same model; same result)
Tried putting a different fan on the main CPU fan header (yes the cooler was stI'll plugged in)
Have replaced thermal paste at each point
