When I try to boot up my computer I get "CPU Fan Error" and I have to go into setup. In the BIOS settings it says there are no CPU fans plugged in, however, all of my CPU fans are running on my corsair 100i liquid cooling.
At the same time as soon as I boot up the computer the CPU temps begin rising well past 80 degrees celsius. I can go from the BIOS menu to the Windows loading screen but I have never let it load up because I am worried about the temps climbing too high.
I think my liquid cooling might just be broken because I don't why the CPU temps are rising so precipitously. Is there anything else I should try before RMA-ing the cooler to Corsair?
