Cpu fan error press f1 to continue ??

how do i eliminate "cpu fan error, press f1 to continue "message on bootup.

fix the CPU fan?

Double check that your heatsink and fan are properly attached to the board and that you CPU fan is plugged into the appropriate header on the motherboard. If the fan isnt spinning up you will get that error, you will also get that error if your heatsink isnt properly mounted and the CPU is overheating.

Thank you hunter 315, while i was waiting for an answer i checked the fan and found it was not plugged into the correct header and so your answer was spot on,Thank you once again for taking the time to answer
