CPU Fan Error

Whenever I boot my computer I see a message at the bottom that says 'CPU Fan Error!'.
But when I open my case and boot my computer it seems to run fine. I also have had no problems with my CPU. should I just brush it off or should I be worried?

Go into the bios and lower the lower RPM limit for your CPU fan. A lot of the cpu fans are temperature controlled and start up at a speed lower than what the bios likes.

Are you sure it's not "CPU OPT fan error"? That means there is no fan in the CPU OPT slot. It's also possible you've accidentally connected the CPU fan to the OPT fan header or to one of the chassis fan headers.

I tried that and it is still giving me the message.

No, it is in the correct slot. I checked before putting it in. there are two slots for a CPU fan and I put it in the first slot. And since I have a sabertooth 990fx I have a UEFI, I can see that it is in a CPU slot.

As anhilated said, you'd need to take the picture with a camera, sorry for the confusion.
