I just recently built a computer and I'm trying to find a CPU fan that is compatible with the asrock x370 motherboard and ryzen processor, I tried the coolermaster 212 evo and coolermaster hyper t4. Both weren't compatible, thanks.
Your board (I have the same one) has two black plastic mounting brackets built in. DO NOT remove them if you get a cooler with a clamp mechanism. I have two of these coolers...one in plated nickle that looks great on the board: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118223
