Cpu fan latch wont reach motherboard

I just bought an amd fx 8350 with the wraith fan, and i went to install it but one latch doesnt reach the motherboard anchor and the other one (the one that is supposed to lock in) is just loose.

That's a pretty common problem with those clips. Make sure the latch is unlatched and rock it back and forth. It will reach. It's probably just caught on something within the heatsink. It may take a little pressing to reach to other side before latching it down.
