Hello, so I have recently factory restored my PC in the hope it would help out that that my CPU fan is locked at max speed. I have used the Asus software of "Ai Suite III" to monitor my fan speeds.

as seen in the image above I have no control over the fan that is continually running at top RPM.

In that image you can see the other fans are adjustable, my only concern is that the CPU fan running at 100% RPM can't be a good thing right? especially constantly? plus it's very loud and overpowers all the others.

Any fan in your case could run for years continuously at full rpm for years and not fail. Cycling them on and off is far worse for them. Is your cpu fan actually plugged into the cpu fan header? If its loud change your settings. It ain't rocket science. A cpu fan can't "overpower" your case fans.

:ange:

Well it's not "overpowering" it's just that all the other fans are adjustable and you can silent them meanwhile the CPU fan is still full on going at rocket speed.. "if it's loud change your settings" easier said than done here mate that's the problem.... it's all plugged in aye because it used to work... :/
