CPU fan mounting help! :/

Hi! I've bought a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo from eBay, and I seem to have trouble installing the cooler to an LGA 1155 socket. The cooler won't clip onto the motherboard. My motherboard didn't come with something like a mounting bracket that goes on the back of the motherboard, there's just 4 holes for me to mount either a mounting bracket on or the cooler itself. Do I need a mounting bracket? If so, which one would fit my motherboard and the cooler? My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4. Thanks 😀

yes you need a mounting bracket no matter what cooler you get. It sounds like this is a used motherbd as a new one would have the stock bracket still attached.
