Question CPU fan not working anymore

I was having alot of lag spikes lately and having high ping for no reasons and i never get lag spikes
so i decided to take a look and saw my cpu fan not spinning
i removed the fan checked it for burns and checked my case fan and motherboard nothing everything is good i restarted my pc and it still didn't move my pc boots fine it just says cpu fan failure and boots normally i have been trying tot Fix it for 8 hours now it did work again but when my pc went into sleeping mode it stopped working i tried everything
reseating, cleaning dust

Motherboard : b450m bazooka MSI

Graphics card : GTX 1060

Ram : 16 gigs

Operating system : Windows 10

If the fan wasn't working for long enough it might've damaged the cpu so that might be why it won't turn on
