CPU Fan (Red light after blue)

Hello everyone!

My CPU Fan light is red when I start my PC, then it goes blue. Is this normal?

I only know the name of the CPU, its an I5 4430-S 2.70 ghz so it should be the fan which comes with it

The change in the color of the light doesn't matter much, though. The target is to have the fan running quietly and efficiently.

CPUID HWMONITOR is the one you need. It would exactly display the fan's RPM.

Oh. Hmm, Hey OP, load optimized defaults in your BIOS and check the temp again. Also, is it TMPIN2?

Did that, tried to see in the bios again, nothing shows.

Seems normal. Check the temp under load, OP. Play a game for a while, hold alt+tab and get to this application without quitting the game.

Okay, now one more test and this is vital. Google "BurnInTest" and download the software from passmark.com website. After installing the software, run "Maximum CPU Temp" from Quick Tests menu found at the menu bar.

If you are not able find the software, here's the link:

The test should run for 15 minutes and it will automatically stop, displaying "Passed". If it throws error while testing, stop the process and must afford a new fan.

No errors appeared? Then your pc is completely fine, OP. And yes, it tests with loads of operation fed into the cores.
