Cpu Fan Socket sizes

Hi Community!

I am trying to get an updated list of CPU socket sizes for both AMD and Intel, ideally in mm of the socket holes for the fan mounting locations.

Can anyone help?

With Intel, all MBs with socket 1150 and newer have same hole spread. With AMD, all MBs with AM2 to AM3+ socket are same. AM4 has own sizes. Find data for one of each socket and you're set.

Every manufacturer has something like that.

Thanks very much Mike, that's exactly what i was after! The 2011 board specs i have found seem to have an 80mm square spacing and it seems the 1150's use a 75mm spacing. i shall hunt the other variants and see if i can find a similar datasheet on them.

The hunt shall continue for similar from AMD... lets hope they are as forthcoming with information as intel was in this release!

Another way would be to look at CPU cooler manufacturers and lists of sockets supported by their coolers. Some also show what you need to know.
For instance: http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-evo/ which shows the list of compatible sockets: Intel® LGA 1366 / 1155 / 1151 / 1150 and AMD FM2 / FM1 / AM3+.

It is a heat sink and bracket i am trying to cross reference that i think was fitted to some older AMD servers as well as intel... dropped you a pm... but i think i have fixed it... "think"
