Cpu fan speed & program questions

I just got the above fan and ran speed fan it shows this

temp one goes upto 50 without any load on cpu I got alot of fans installed is there another progam i could use to test the fan??

also what is pwm and how do i set it? because this fan has auto and then it has manual and even when I goto manual and select to put it up all the way it still shows the same rpm ??

I got 5 120mm fans besides the fan on the cpu why is that one running so hot?

To be able to adjust the speed thru speedfan you will have to configure it to take full control of the fan.

Click configure then go to advanced tab use the drop down menu on chip then find your motherboard once you select your motherboard you will see something like this.

Change the PWM modes to manual to be able to control the fans also remeber to check remember it so it saves your configuration.

You also might want to look in your bios under power management or hardware monitor and see if there are any settings for the fans there too.

this is what my bios pulls up when i search for the bios i got with am3 with version..

so I disabled my smart fan speed thing
i disabled cool n quiet although I think I might just turn that back on because I have to leave this cpu on all the time we have magic jack.. =(
