CPU Fan Speed

Hi there
I have computer with processor pentium 4 (1.7 G) and i have some trouble when i start my computers about 5-10 later my computers automaticly restart by self.

And i have check the bios system, that i got the speed for processor fan in between 2.343 and 2.567 rpm, is that normal condition for pentium 4 with big heatsink....????

or the power suplly is trouble...???

does any one know what's going on...???

Yeah that's the the right rpm, and are you sure you clipped the heatsink on properly? Are the thermal grease applied properly? Tell us the rest of your system.

- Mother board asus P4se
- Processor Intel P4 1,7
- Memory Visipro 128 DDR
- Harddisk Maxtor 40 g
- OS win 98se

for the informations the electricity from power supply is :
- vcore 1,3
- +3 3,3
- +5 5,3
- +12 11,7

for the power supply is that okey...?? or something wrong...??
yesterday i have termopasta and i used in my processor heatsink, and after that i check the bios system and nothing change... the rpm or the temperatur still the same before i use termopasta.

any sugestions...??
