Hey, I'm in desperate need of help.

I've had my PC for around 2 years now with little problem, and the past week I've been playing The Elder Scrolls Online quite a bit (4+ hours at a time). Everything was running fine, but last night my PC just black screened and rebooted while I was playing. I thought nothing of it because it had never happened before, so I logged back an and booted up ESO again for the same thing to happen. I thought it might have just been because I was playing an intensive game, so I went to bed and left my PC overnight. This morning it booted up fine and I thought the problem was gone, but when I clicked on a facebook game the CPU fan surged and the PC black screened and rebooted again, except this time when it rebooted the monitor was still black as if the monitor wire was loose. I checked that and it was all fine. So I began to try other alternatives, I cleaned both of my Ram sticks and made sure all of my fans were properly cleaned/had no dust in them and it loaded up again. Since I thought I knew a bit about PCs, I assumed the fan speeding up was because of heat issues so I ran Speedfan and it showed that my CPU cores were idling at around 28c so that can't be the problem. My graphics card was idling at around 36c so I assume that cannot be the problem either. So now I am stumped. My PC sometimes boots up and the temperatures remain the same, increasing by a couple of degrees if I run tasks on the PC. But then after 10mins of activity the CPU fan surges again and the PC reboots with a black screen then won't start for another 15-20mins. I assume it might have something to do with my power supply, but as far as I'm aware the PSU I have is more than enough to power all of my components.

PSU - Cooler Master 750W (Low noise)
CPU - Intel i5 3570K - (4 x 3.4 GHZ) - Ivy Bridge
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H (Intel B75)
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 - 1280 MB (EVGA)
RAM - 8 GB 1333 MHZ (2x4GB) - (DDR3)
CPU Heatsink - Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler

If you require any more info, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm in desperate need of assistance from someone.

Thanks in advance,
Kieran.

Replace your power supply. It is the culprit. Too many power related issues for it to be anything else. Worst case, your motherboard has gone bad, but...
Would you mind giving me the link to the Issue? If it is the power supply, How would I go around replacing it. My whole PC is still under warranty, so would I have to send my whole PC back or could I just remove the Power Supply and send that back and get a new one?

Edit: If my psu is the problem, would my other case fans turn on when I switch my pc on? Because at the moment when I turn my pc on, my three case fans turn on, along with my cpu heatsink fan and the built in fan within my gpu. I would have thought that if my power supply was the problem, nothing would turn on?

Significant Edit: I took out the RAM and cleaned/reseated it once more and now it seems to work. I also removed some other plugs that were in the adapter my PC was plugged into, not sure if that did anything but hey. Now however, I ran prime95 and everything was fine, so my CPU is okay. But upon running Furmark to test my GPU, the window loaded and the video/game started playing then my screen turned black, the computer continued running for 10-15 seconds then it turned off and turned back on. The weird thing is that I was running Speedfan the whole time and my GPU temperature only increased around 1-2c to 40c~ then it turned off. So I have no clue why it would turn off, because the heat failsafe is somewhere around 100c in the 570.

Sorry for the trouble and changing in circumstances but if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Alright, do you have any recommendations on Power Supplies? I'm from the UK and most of the other recommendations I see are from Newegg which would cost like $60 to even ship over here.

Thanks for the help

You stated earlier that your computer was prebuilt by a company. I would call them to verify that the power supply is ATX/EPS compliant before buying a replacement. Some manufactures still use proprietary power supplies that use non-standard connectors. Dell was guilty of this for several years and unsuspecting owners literally blew up brand new components because the power connectors were not standardized. I would recommend Seasonic, XFX, EVGA, Corsair, Enermax, Thermaltake or Coolermaster manufactured power supplies. Just visit www.amazon.co.uk and look at the various 750 Watt power supplies and see which have the best ratings. You could always go higher than 750 Watts. It's up to you and what your budget will allow. Good luck!

No, I never had a buzzing noise sorry. Mine turned out to be due to a faulty graphics card

I found out my games were crashing because of a outdated audio driver xD. thnx anyway
